The MTP850Ex can be used in explosive gas and dust environments due to its high level of protection.
Certified for the most dangerous gas group, IIC, MTP850Ex can safely be operated in Zone 1 and Zone 2 classified hazardous areas rendered potentially explosive by gases such as hydrogen.

In hazardous industrial environments, personnel can also encounter potentially explosive dusts such as flour or grain dust. To address these risks, MTP850Ex provides protection to any explosive dust present in a Zone 21 or 22 classified hazardous area.
